– Turbochargers with internal wastegates are supplied with an 8psi/0.55 actuator.
– The adjustable actuator rod is intended for adjustment of the static wastegate tension, not for adjusting boost.
– The wastegate tension should only be tight enough to avoid the wastegate opening before full boost is achieved
Tuning
– Even if you are running the same boost level as previous turbo the different boost response of your turbo will require different engine tuning.
